Greetings! Hubby & I live in a lovely renovated 15 square 2 bedroom 1 bathroom art deco home with a large backyard on a gorgeous tree-lined street in Heidelberg Heights (7 min walk to Austin hospital, cafes & train). Let me introduce our beautiful family. We have 4 cats, (3 are indoor-only cats). They're our first cats and of course our babies: Smooch & Pipsqueak (both 6yo females - we rescued the girls over 3 years ago. We believe they're sisters). The girls experienced some type of trauma before meeting us- they are frightened and untrustworthy of males/men in general; Turbo & Bonbons (these brothers are both 5yo males - we've had Turbo since he was a kitten and Bonbons since he was around one years old). Smooch (lighter tabby, female): alpha, security cat, very intuitive, sweet-natured, confident, intelligent, very smoochy, bed cat and the only 1 out of the 4 who is allowed outside at times (will discuss those dynamics with the sitter) Pipsqueak: (petite cat, darker tabby, female) a very sensitive soul, mummy's girl, mostly very timid, likes her own space, needs patience but has a lot of love to give, we assume we're the first humans she's grown to trust. Almost always occupies the study. Turbo (smaller angora, male) adorable, cheeky, bed cat who gets spoiled from everyone, he can forget to think at times haha for example he fell in the toilet once (long storey but was a quick lesson for me- toilet seat down when not in use!), he tried to eat a burning candle once (another quick lesson- no candles in the home), he's been busted eating plastic a few times (another quick lesson- don't leave any type of plastic bags, cling wrap, or plastic packets around the house!), he's our little weirdo forever baby haha. Bonbons (bigger angora, male) adorable, biggest gentle giant you'll ever meet, however he can get overly excited when playing at times and then too boisterous and annoying to the others- he's a big boy with a big heart who doesn't realise his own weight haha. The cats require: being fed 2-3 times daily - small amounts of wet food (I add a little water to the pouches) and dry food is always available. Daily clean water. Kitty litter is cleaned twice daily. All doors within the home are always left open for them to roam freely (there's been a few different times when we've accidentally locked one of them in the back toilet- we felt soo awful so yeah another lesson for us... leave all the inside doors open at all times haha). Front & back entry/exit doors must be closed securely at all times. Both toilet lids must be kept down at all times (because of our little weirdo Turbo haha), no human food left out, and caution during and after cooking on the stove (I feed the cats wet food before I cook & they leave me alone in peace to cook human food). Also, Turbo tends to eat plastic- please be careful not to leave any plastic lying around. Indoor plants require water. Outdoor pot plants and front garden beds require water. Honestly, our home and property is one big love bubble! All of our cats have beautiful and unique personalities. They love chats and being sung to, cuddles and play time of course. We are incredibly blessed and confident that anyone who loves and appreciates cats, will really enjoy our little family and home. Oh yeah, also we have the best neighbours- everyone is lovely, friendly and we look out for each other around here (tight-knit community). In a nutshell, we expect our home to be kept and left in a similar condition to what we've provided. A loving and compassionate female/lady pet-sitter who works from home or spends a lot of time at home day and night would be ideal. No smoking indoors and no shoes inside (slippers are great- I have plenty of spares too). **Required dates for sitting: Thu 7 August - Sat 13 September. Cheers and warmest regards Sash
