Who's keen for a big Christmas break on the Sunny Coast? We're heading overseas for approx 2mths at the end of 2025, and our place is available to a fabulous experienced housesitter or couple. THE AREA: Semi-rural acreage area – utterly peaceful, yet minutes to everything. • Under 15mins to Coolum and THE best beaches in Australia • 10mins to the village of Yandina; home of the iconic Sprit House restaurant, the Yandina Farmer's Markets, the Ginger Factory, great coffee, some beaut small bars and cafes, and an excellent local supermarket • 7mins to Terella Brewing (cold bevvies, food trucks, live music), or to Fairhill Native Botanic Garden nursery & cafe. • Amazing local hikes incl Mt Ninderry (under 10mins drive), Mt Coolum (15mins), Wappa Falls area (15mins), Eumundi Conservation Park (3mins) • Under 15mins to Eumundi, 20mins to Peregian, 30mins to Noosa or the glorious Blackall Range villages; >5km to the Bruce Highway THE HOME: Large, well-maintained modern home on 1.4ac. • Upstairs: 4bed, 2bath, study, kitchen, lounge, dining, massive deck overlooking the garden and conservation forest + BBQ. All AC except for one small room. You would have this level entirely to yourself • Downstairs: Self-contained entirely separate studio apartment with own entrance, currently tenanted long-term by a lovely professional (F). No requirement to manage tenancy - it's all under control. • Laundry (downstairs; separate from the studio apartment) OUTSIDE • Swimming pool: ridiculously low/no-maintenance container pool - very cool! Might need a top up from the tap if it gets a bit low, but no other work required. • Undercover vehicle parking (carport) • Space (uncovered) to park a caravan • Lush, terraced gardens and fruit trees which are basically entirely self-sustaining. No maintenance or watering required, but help yourself to whatever's in season. We'll get someone in to mow the footpath & back paddock; no effort required by you. • Potplants: On the upstairs deck and under the rear stairs - would need to be watered once or twice a week. THE ANIMALS • 3yo Golden Retriever (F): gentle, super-affectionate, non-barker; wonderful with all humans and all other animals. Specialises in lying on your feet & eating cheese. Needs to be fed morning and night; would love to go for the occasional social stroll or for a drive to the beach (her happy-happy place) • 2x strictly indoor-only Burmese: 4yo M & 13yo F. Extremely lazy and both a bit weird. Need to be fed morning & night. • 8 chookies - fresh eggs galore! Fed each morning, and let out to free-range from midday-ish until late afternoon. GOOD TO KNOW • This is a semi-rural area – there’s no public transport. Nearest train is Yandina (10mins away); Sunshine Coast Airport is a 22min drive • We’re on tank water and a biocycle septic. This just means being mindful of water use, and only using septic-safe cleaning products, detergents etc (which will all be provided) • Super-fast unlimited broadband, in case you're working remotely.

Pets & farm animals
