About
My home is situated at the bottom of a hill and is surrounded by Kings Park. There are wonderful views of the river from the living area and the two bedrooms. The unit is part of a residential building with 10 floors. Each unit occupies an entire floor - mine is Unit 1 and has direct access to to a small garden area and a large communal outdoor area. There are two full bedrooms and a third room which has a double sofa bed. There are two full bathrooms and a third powder room. There is a large living-dining-sitting area and another smaller sitting room (with the sofa bed). There is a pool, a small gymn and an outdoor barbeque. These facilities are all communal and cared for by the body corporate. There are good walks around the river and park areas, but unfortunately, dogs are to be kept on leads in these areas. Off lead walks are available further away along the river.
Pets & farm animals
My dog is a medium size labradoodle aged 8 years. He is very friendly and loving and at present I walk him every morning and take him to a park in the late afternoons. There is also a cat - he is a rescue animal and very nervous with stranger, He needs feeding morning and evening but otherwise looks after himself. There are also about 12 gold fish in an outdoor pond. The fish require feeding every day.
House Tasks
The pool is cleaned monthly by a contractor and but I usually remove the leaves half way between the contractor's visits. Sweep decks if leaves build up.
