About

Situated in the heart of Mooloolah township with a beautiful national park at the end of the street. Only 20 minutes drive to the hinterland townships of Maleny and Montville or 25 minutes to the beach. The house is a low-set, 3 bedroom simple space. The garden is a low-care 1/4 acre block with a range of native and fruit trees, veggies, and wildlife, particularly birds. Some mowing will be required. Being a relatively quiet neighbourhood, it could be a good opportunity to relax and enjoy nature.

Pets & farm animals

The property is home to 4 chooks, a cat and a dog. Chickens The main tasks for the girls are to let them out in the morning, lock them away at night, collect eggs, and check on their feed and water. Cat He’s an indoors only cat although he’ll sometimes try to persuade you otherwise. Don’t believe him! As long as he gets fed, has the occasional cuddle, and is able to hang out and sleep with the dog (his best mate) he’ll be fine. There’s an outdoor cat enclosure he can access if you open the sliding door for him. The only other task for him will be to clean his kitty litter which needs to be checked daily cleaned out as needed. Dog She’s a very special, complex girl who’s experienced unknown trauma. She finds change difficult, struggles to emotionally regulate, and is very sensitive to noises. She is happiest at home and finds walks very stressful. So no walks please. We have routines and processes in place to help her cope with her triggers and anxieties. If you follow these and let her set the pace of interaction with you she will be fine. Put pressure on her to do otherwise and she will not cope. She is a very loving and affectionate dog once she has settled and feels comfortable with you. She needs someone who is calm, gentle, and willing to give her the space and time she needs to feel safe. You will then be rewarded with affection and occasional funny antics. She has daily medication with her food to help her manage her anxieties.
