My place is on 1 acre of land. The house is a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, large kitchen, 2 living spaces with plenty of parking spaces at the front. There is wifi, a dish washer, washing machine etc. The back has a veranda overlooking a large, beautiful back garden that has a watering system. The property is a 5min walk to the Gawler to Adelaide train line, 8 minute drive to Gawler, or a 35 min drive to the CBD. There is flexibility if you needed to be away for a night here and there in between.
Pets & farm animals
I have a dog named Mishka (he is a 6 yr old Chow Chow) that I would like you to look after, he is fairly self-sufficient in the way that he has his own dog door to let himself out as needed and his water and food bowls are filled when it's starting to look empty (he grazes all day rather than having set meals). Mishka doesn't need much in the way of walking, but he does appreciate a little play in the back yard, going to the dog park etc if that's something you like to do. I also have a horse which my neighbours are willing to look after if you are not confident to look after him. However, if you are, even for 1 or 2 of the tasks that would be a bonus, it mainly would entail filling the water trough up, moving the manure to the compost heap, opening/closing the fence to the hay, giving a hard feed, and rugging.
House Tasks
During this stay the sitter will just need to turn the taps on and off a couple times a week to water the garden and hand water a few plants at the front.
