I am seeking a house sitter to look after my 2 BR mud brick home in leafy Montmorency, a north eastern suburb of Melbourne, and my 3 y.o old kelpie, Gypsy. The house is solidly built with a dog-safe garden. The house is double glazed, and has reverse cycle aircon and ceiling fans throughout. Montmorency is a pleasant suburb with a village-like shopping strip and an easy rail service to the CBD. It is a ten minute walk from my house to the shops/station. There is NBN and WIFI connection. No dishwasher. Gypsy is protective of her space so other pets are not welcome.

Pets & farm animals

A 3 y.o old Kelpie bitch, Gypsy. She is loving and friendly. Training has progressed and she now responds well to commands and walks well on the lead. Gypsy needs a good walk on lead each day, and also off lead time at nearby locations. She loves to fetch a ball. An understanding of active dogs and their behavior would be beneficial. Working from home or not working would help as the dog enjoys company. She can however be safely left alone for hours.

House Tasks

Bring the mail in, put the bins out, water the plants inside and out as necessary and look after the dog. Garden care as necessary - possibly sweep paths, rake up leaves, perhaps mow the grass.
