We are looking for a mature person or couple to look after our small, affectionate dog while we are on holiday. Our dog is gentle and very friendly. She requires lots of cuddles, and two walks a day, preferably to the beach. She requires regular brushing as she has long hair. She is a Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie). We live in a new two bedroom house, located 500 m from the beach. It is a super energy efficient, PassivHaus design. We will show you how to operate the energy efficiency features. We prefer a person who is happy to take a bit of extra care in the house and garden. The garden includes ponds. Green Head is a peaceful village in a beautiful location, with limestone headlands and lots of sheltered beaches. We are close to Mt Lesueur National Park. A perfect location for active people. Green Head has a store, pharmacy and petrol station. Supermarket, hardware store and health facilities are available in nearby Jurien Bay. This house-sit is not suitable for children. Non-smokers only.

Pets & farm animals

1 Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) called Nikita. She is young and healthy. Requires regular exercise. Preferably two beach walks a day. Special diet for urinary health. Requires regular brushing and check her coat after every walk for grass seeds and burs. Look after garden ponds and fish. Top up with water. Remove excess algae.

House Tasks

Keep house clean and tidy. Use rainwater carefully. Use energy efficient features of house. Report any issues to us. Use only septic system friendly cleaners, we will provide. Water and weed garden. There are no lawns.
