We live near Thorpdale (Heart of Potato Country) centrally located in the Gippsland hills between Trafalgar and Mirboo Nth. Our 3br house is on 5 acres boarded by tall gumtrees a small creek and potato paddocks. Now to our beloved and spoilt animals, hope you are up for a challenge. We have 2 dogs, 5 cats, 2 goats, 5 horses and 9 birds (4 cages). The dogs and cats are fed morning and night. One old cat requires some extra attention. One older horse is fed moning and night. The other horses and goats are self sufficient and only require to be checked daily that they are all okay. The birds are fed in the morning. One important thing is to ensure the water troughs are full each day and it would be appreciated if the potted plants outside the house receive some water. Other than an hour morning and night the rest of the day is yours to explore the property and surrounding area. The person/s we are looking for must have a love of animals and patients to work with demanding older animals. Experience with all species is not necessary as printed instructions will be provided and help and advice will only be a phone call away.
