Property: Nanango QLD Dates: 01/05-31/08/25 We are looking for a responsible, non smoking single or couple to look after our home & 2 Jack Russells, for about 4 months. This would be a perfect position for someone working from home. The guest room is already made up waiting for you in our comfortable lowset home in Nanango in the beautiful South Burnett in QLD. It is a small, laid back country town of approx 4000 people. We are 600m walking distance to the town centre. The town is well established with an information centre, library, doctors, pharmacies, vets, pathology services, a 20 bed hospital, pubs and a well stocked supermarket along with other essential services. We are also only 21km away from the larger town of Kingaroy where you will find an Aldi and other major outlets. The beautiful Bunya Mountains are only a short drive away. Our home has a working fire place for cozy and comfortable winters, as well as a reverse cycle A/C in the main living area. Limited WiFi is available. There is also a large deck at the back of the house which is ideal for BBQs. The back yard is fully enclosed and dog proof with a 180cm high fence and locked gates. Experience with a high energy breed like Jack Russells is preferable. Our two Jack Russells, Troopa & Miss L.C. will require love, attention, monthly meds (tick and flea) and exercise. They certainly enjoy daily 3-4km walks. The majority of our gardens are on a water timer so they only need to be checked to ensure they are being watered. We would require the lawns to be kept mowed and tidy and gardens weeded. (As we will be coming into cooler months, there should not be too much lawn and garden maintenance required, maybe general weeding). We will (hopefully) have an assortment of citrus in fruit and herbs to use when they are ready to pick. There is a carport available for secure parking and room to park a small van only. We would prefer our sitter to live in our home whilst we are away.
