About

Our home is a modern farm house on 18 acres of land with fenced paddocks and some bushland. The farm borders a National park and other rural residential properties. The house has an open plan living areas, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, outdoor verandas and pool. There is ducted air conditioning and fans in all rooms. The house has an acre of garden and is enclosed by a fence. Our property is located on a quiet rural road 5 km from the village of Lake Cathie and beaches, and 20 km from Port Macquarie. We have two very affectionate border collie dogs, Henri almost 3 years and Lila 8 months. Our dogs stay mainly outside during the day but sleep inside at night. We also have two well trained, quiet and friendly horses Leo and Barbie and a friendy well behaved donkey Merlin. It would be helpful if the house sitters had some experience with horses but not essential. The horses can be fed and water topped up easily without entering the paddocks.
