About

Our house is 5 minutes (by car) from Williamstown beach, close to the city (15 mins by car/ 25 mins train) and a beautiful area to visit. We has 3 bedrooms with 2 queens and a double. We have all the amenities, wifi and aircon/heating. The golf course (5 minute walk away), is beautiful (image of swans on lake) and worth going to walk in as well as to play. Newport lakes (10 minute walk) is also beautiful and worth a visit. Public transport at end of street (bus) and train 3 min drive/10 min walk. It’s an awesome area

Pets & farm animals

We have two dogs, Pete the greyhound and Scarlet the Koolie. We have a beautiful cat, Pickles, and two ducks, Amy and Gary. The pups live outside during the day, but come in in the late afternoon/evening. If it’s very hot, we let them in if we are home. They sleep outside. We walk them daily in the early evening and they are fed when we put them out each night. They are both in their later years so have some medications. They both take these with no issue. You’ll have to feed and smooch Pickles, he’s very friendly and feed the ducks and lock them in their run at night. Pickles is fed morning and night, he pops outside to toilet but there are trays inside as well (rarely uses them). Ducks have a feeder but also some pellets and cat food at night. The ducks need to be put away at night, this involves opening the gate and directing them in, they know the routine. We have a quack-a-ponics system (see image) which keeps their water clean and will require a small tinker in adjusting the water flow over the week, but that’s it.

House Tasks

If you can water the pot plants, that would be appreciated and put the bins out on bin night. That’s really it in regard to other chores
