House Sit in Scenic Tamborine Mountain – Care for Our Pets in Paradise! Are you looking for a peaceful escape in a stunning location while caring for some well-loved furry (and finned) companions? We are seeking mature, responsible and caring house sitters for approximately 22 days in November-December 2025 to look after our home and pets while we’re away. About Our Home Nestled in the beautiful Tamborine Mountain with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast, our home is a comfortable retreat surrounded by nature. The neighbourhood is friendly, with wonderful neighbours nearby, and a gardener takes care of the lawns, so no outdoor maintenance is required. We are on tank water, so sitters need to be mindful of water usage, but there’s no need to scrimp – just be aware of conservation. One of the highlights of staying here is the abundance of native birdlife. Each day, Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets, and King Parrots visit our home, and many of them can be hand-fed, making for a truly special experience with Australia’s beautiful wildlife. Meet Our Pets • Two dogs – One is elderly and requires medication, while the other is an fun-loving and a bit boisterous companion. Both are affectionate and love human company. They are inside dogs and sleep inside the house but love getting outside for a game of fetch or a nice leisurely walk. • One cat – Also elderly and a little forgetful at times, but not demanding. He can be fussy, so a patient and understanding sitter would be ideal. He is an indoor cat so kitty litter maintenance will be required on a daily basis. • Fish – Low maintenance, just a simple daily feed. Our pets are used to company, so we’re looking for sitters who will spend time with them, provide loving care, and ensure their routines are maintained. What We’re Looking For We are seeking reliable, non-smoking house sitters who: ? Have experience with elderly pets, especially administering medication. ? Are home-loving and will provide companionship for our animals. ? Are mindful of water conservation. ? Are clean, responsible, and respectful of our home. ?
